Every girl needs to be prepared for anything and everything that happens in high school. Whether it be that you cried due to a sad movie in English class, started your monthly, or tripped down the stairs because your clumsy like me.

Everyone needs to be prepared for the ups and downs of high school. Here is everything you'll need to survive high school like I do.

1. 2 Small Makeup Bags- these are going to be very helpful in everyday use. I use three because I have a certain organizational process. You will end up filling these with the things I mention next. One of them will act as an 'emergency hygiene pack' and the other will act as a beauty kit. Ipsy bags work perfectly for this. (Link will be down below) #notsponored

2. A few Band-Aids - If your school is like mine, it takes forever to track down a Band-Aid, just bring your own and put it in one of the small makeup bags. This will be the start of your emergency kit.

3. A Few Feminine Products- I don't know what you prefer but I like to be extra safe and use a tampon and a pad at the same time because I am really skittish about whether it leaked or not. I suggest putting 3 tampons, and 2 pantie liners in either the emergency pack or an extra bag. Just so you'll always be prepared when Shark Week ruthlessly comes and hits you in the uterus.

4. Lip Balm- This could practically save your life. Maybe its the winter and your lips start cracking from the weather changes or maybe your lips just feel dry. Either way I don't know your situation but what I do know is that having lip balm with you could really make you feel more comfortable I prefer Vaseline (link will be down below) #notsponsored.

5. Floss- HOLY MOLY, THIS IS A MUST HAVE. I am terrified of talking to people with food stuck in my teeth, it's honestly one of my biggest fears. Have some floss on hand just in case you need to get some of that corn you had for lunch stuck in there. This could be put in your emergency bag.

6. Sunscreen- I know this sounds like overkill but it really is helpful in case your class has an activity planned outside. You don't need a large bottle, just a small sample size tube will do the trick. SPF is important especially if you live somewhere that's sunny for the most part (talking to you southerners). Can also be placed in emergency bag.

7. Deodorant- Some days are just more sweaty than others so I do suggest having a sample size of deodorant with you. I am really self-conscious of the way I smell so this was a life saver for me. Also a small bottle of body spray on hand can't hurt to have either. Put this in your hygiene emergency bag.

8. Hair Bands- These are almost essential to have. They will be a lifesaver when your hair is getting in the way of looking down at your test or if you forgot that you had gym class that day.

9. Extra Makeup- I am the queen of waking up to late to put makeup on. It is really helpful to have an old tube of foundation, a mini eye shadow palette you rarely use, and a torn beauty blender with you. I am all for a bare face but sometimes you just need that little confidence boost. Tip- don't throw away a torn beauty blender or an almost gone tube of mascara, a little bit is better than none. These things can find their perfect home in the beauty bag.

10. An extra pair of underwear- Back to the shark week talk. In case things really do get messy and someone can't bring you home or bring you more underwear, always have it with you. I can tell you from experience that it could save you the embarrassment.

12. Snacks- This year I have the last lunch of the day which means I would have seven hours between breakfast and lunch. I would need to eat between then and you would too. Just have a few granola bars with you in case hunger strikes throughout the day.

13. Tweezers- Maybe there is a hair bothering the crap out of you but you can't quite get it, tweezers will come in handy. Revlon tweezers are my favorite, I will leave a link below, also not sponsored. These are not really essential but I like to have them just in case.

14. Extra headphones- Maybe you forgot yours at home or maybe you need ones that don't have the apple charger head on them. These could come in handy real quick.

15. Charger- Phones die quickly at school, have a charger so the bus ride home is less painful.

16. Gum or Mints- Once again I am really self-conscious about my breath and I want the option to make it better. Gum is also helpful with stress relief and it gives you something to do while sitting in a boring class.

This is my full back to school survival pack list. Of course all of these things are not really essential but they sure do help with being prepared for high school and the everyday challenges that might get thrown your way. I hope your school year is a great one and that this helped tremendously.
